I've been waiting for 4 months for a replacement pair of Rocky S2V boots. TacTown has not returned an email since the 4th of October (7 sent, nil replies). Originally I thought the delay was due to the boots having to go back to Rocky before a replacement could be sent, but in the last email I got on 4th October, I was told a replacement pair would be prepared for shipping and sent. Nothing has arrived, and over 7 emails in the past 3 months have been sent to various addresses including PMs to the owner here with nil responses.

If you're in the market for gear, there are far better companies in Canada that actually value customer service, I will never shop here again. Now I'm stuck missing a pair of $200 boots and have to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in hopes they can get a response to get me either my money or a new pair of boots.

An update: Finally got ahold of the company, and Rocky is giving them the run-around on the return so they will refund my order. It took a while, but I am happy they are handling this and that some of my displeasure needs to be directed towards Rocky Boots.

Same problem with me, I tried to contact them via email, phones but no answer or reply. So do not order from them because you will lose your money. Very poor service and the worst thing is that guy was in the same regiment as me. This forum should put that company on a black list !!!!!

CP Gear is always a good option.  Fast service, good warranties, and hot staff (not including Mark, the owner, of course)

I guess I am lucky that my one purchase from this company went through without TOO much trouble.

But based on the issues PC and other seem to be having, I won't be buying there again. That kind of stuff is not on in this day and age.

I only use One Shot tactical or LA Police Gear, good places to deal with.

The only time they ever responded to my e-mails is when I started complaining in a public place.

I really don't think they should be allowed to advertise here.

Tactown is no longer an advertiser here. This board remains in place only as a warning to others who may deal with them.

Tactowngear is active on facebook again and putting up pretty decent deals. Does anyone know if they sorted out their issues?

They still have not resolved all of their outstanding commitments here, so I would be extremely cautious.
