I think my dogs feet smell more like corn chips - the puppy has stronger smelling feet than the older one. Both Beagles.

I don't want to alarm you, but dogs (evolutionary speaking) probably came before humans began microwaving popcorn in their caves- hence the more accurate and distubing question is "Why does my popcorn smell like my dog's feet."

Ahem..

Not DOGS but WOLVES, more appropriately DIRE WOLVES (HUGE) from a long time ago, roamed the earth long before popcorn. All dogs are the decendants of the wolf. And the wolf and the bear come from a large predator mammal (Can't remember the exact name) that was like a mix between the two in size/looks etc from along time ago. SO.... Does anyone know what a wolf's pads smell like???

That may lead to the solution of this enigmatic secret!!!

Or, email Discovery channel... ?

PS> Get this, theory on whales is that they have actually evolved 3 times now from a large land predator to the ocean going version of itself now. They have fossil records and everything! It looked kinda like ... *Thinks*.... *Thinking*....... .. .. . . . ..... Really big version of a not-so-furry-bear with a long snout.
