My boyfriends father deceased about 10 years ago and recently he has wanted to know more about what his father did. We have an old picture of him from the late 40's I believe in Uniform with Fusiliers Mont Royal on his shoulder.He resided in Moncton NB but may have possibly been stationed in Gagetown. His name was Fernand Melanson. I want to aid in my boyfriends search and am hoping that someone out there may have fought with him or may have known about where he fought or something that would give us direction on where to look for more information.
